Embraer and Austrian Airlines have signed a Component Pool Program agreement covering the airline’s fleet of 13 Embraer E195s. The arrangement provides access to more than 300 aircraft components, along with component exchange, repair and overhaul services. It gives Austrian manufacturer-backed support for parts across its E195 fleet, without requiring the airline to hold every covered component in its own inventory.
The program is designed to simplify component management and support aircraft availability while reducing maintenance-related costs. Pooling allows an operator to access parts and associated repair services through the support network rather than relying solely on its own stocks.
Embraer describes the Pool Program as a global support offering with guaranteed performance levels. The agreement’s duration, financial terms and start date were not disclosed.
