PAL assigns A350-1000 daily to Manila–San Francisco route

Philippine Airlines is operating its Airbus A350-1000 daily between Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport and San Francisco International Airport ahead of the year-end holiday travel period. The aircraft serves flights PR104 and PR105, giving the route a 382-seat configuration with 42 Business Class suites, 24 Premium Economy seats and 316 Economy seats. PAL has not specified when the daily assignment began or quantified the increase in premium seating compared with the aircraft previously used.

The A350-1000’s cabin includes 4K entertainment screens, Wi-Fi, in-seat power and USB-A and USB-C charging across all classes. The Manila–San Francisco service also feeds PAL’s network to destinations in the Philippines and Asia-Pacific.

Under the schedule effective 1 November, PR104 continues to leave Manila at 23:15 local time, with its San Francisco arrival moving from 20:45 to 19:45. PR105’s departure from San Francisco shifts from 23:40 to 22:40, while its Manila arrival remains at 05:35. All times are local.

PAL cites fuel efficiency, operational flexibility and cargo capacity among the A350-1000’s advantages, but has not provided figures for those gains.
