Embraer’s Company-Wide Backlog Reaches Record $35.7 Billion

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer reported a record consolidated order backlog of US$35.7 billion for the quarter ended in September 2026. The total, spanning commercial aviation, executive aviation, defence and security, and services and support, rose 3% from the previous quarter and 14% year on year. Commercial aviation accounted for the largest share, at US$15.8 billion.

The remaining segment backlogs were US$8.2 billion for executive aviation, US$6.1 billion for defence and security, and US$5.6 billion for services and support. The figures show the order book’s reach across aircraft sales, defence programmes and support activity.

During the quarter, Embraer recorded commercial aircraft orders from Abra Group and ANA Holdings, among other customers. The quarterly backlog figure reflects orders across the company’s businesses, rather than a single new contract. It indicates future demand, but does not establish when orders will be fulfilled or how much may ultimately convert into revenue or deliveries.
