Singapore Airlines will introduce a next-generation KrisWorld entertainment system on 41 retrofitted Airbus A350-900 long-haul and A350-900ULR aircraft, with service beginning progressively from 2027, and on future Boeing 777-9s. The upgrade pairs 4K touchscreens and more than 2,500 entertainment choices with plans to roll out Starlink broadband from early 2027 on A380s and specified A350s. Eligible passengers will continue to receive unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi on equipped aircraft.
KrisWorld will feature spatial audio, Bluetooth headphone pairing, a redesigned interface, personalisation and wellness content. OLED screens will be available on selected aircraft and cabin configurations. The entertainment catalogue, which includes content from Apple TV, BBC, CNA, HBO Max, iQIYI and Paramount+, will be refreshed monthly. Singapore Airlines has not provided aircraft-by-aircraft installation dates.
Starlink connectivity is planned for A380s, A350-900 long-haul aircraft and A350-900ULRs, supporting streaming, social media, gaming, messaging and work on personal devices. Complimentary unlimited access will apply to Suites, First and Business Class customers, PPS Club members, and KrisFlyer members travelling in Premium Economy and Economy. The airline has not confirmed connectivity plans for other fleets.
The digital upgrades are part of a broader travel-experience package that includes new long-haul cabin products, refreshed dining, amenities and ground services. Singapore Airlines plans to unveil the package in Singapore in November 2026.
