Michelin’s Air X Sky Light aircraft tire, developed with Dassault Aviation for the Falcon 10X, is designed to reduce weight by 10% to 20% and extend service life by a similar margin compared with previous-generation tires. A technical feature published by AIN examines the design and certification challenges behind those gains. The tire was first shown in 2023; its planned use on the Falcon 10X is not a new development.
