Air Astana Group added eight scheduled and charter destinations from Astana in 2026, expanding its network from the Kazakh capital to 32 destinations, including announced routes. The additions are Guangzhou, Bangkok, Larnaca, Dalaman, Batumi, Issyk-Kul, Salalah and Yining. Weekly international flights from Astana have risen from 99 to 116, with more services on several existing routes.
The group has increased frequencies to Beijing, Seoul, Frankfurt, Istanbul and Dubai. Capacity from Astana is reported to be 55% higher to Beijing and 20% higher to both Seoul and Istanbul than in 2025.
Air Astana added seven destinations from Astana in 2025: Sanya, Jeddah, Medina, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Alanya and Kutaisi. The current total of 32 includes connections that have been announced but may not yet be operating.
Aircraft based in Astana are expected to increase from 16 in summer 2026 to 22 in 2027. The additional aircraft would support the expanded schedule and planned growth in international services from the capital.
