Delta Air Lines is undertaking its largest Delta One business-class refresh in nearly 30 years, introducing new dining, drinks, tableware, amenities and entertainment. The programme will begin this autumn on transoceanic flights from Los Angeles International Airport, before expanding across the global international network in early 2027. New Delta One suites are also planned for the airline’s Airbus A350-1000 aircraft from 2027.
The revised menu will include a Wagyu burger and Hong Kong-style sea bass, while the drinks programme will add Blanton’s single-barrel bourbon, Hugo Spritz and Paloma cocktails, alcohol-free alternatives and wines selected with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. Passengers will be able to choose their main course up to 18 hours before departure, six hours earlier than under the current arrangement. Gluten-free meals, lighter dishes and pre-arrival options will also be available, including choices designed for passengers who want to maximise sleep.
The service will use new tableware, updated Missoni amenity kits and additional Missoni mini-pillows on ultra-long-haul flights. Bombas products will return on selected routes, while seatback screens and entertainment will be updated. Delta’s redesign team, established in 2022 and involving more than 200 employees, tested new procedures and more than 60 tableware pieces across 36 flights.
The forthcoming A350-1000 suites will feature 24-inch screens, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging and refined lie-flat seats. Delta is also expanding its Porsche airport-transfer fleet from 40 to 70 vehicles, although the service remains a separate option for selected high-value customers rather than a standard feature of every Delta One journey.
