Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has finalized a firm order for 75 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, comprising A320neo and A321neo models, in the largest transaction in the US lessor’s nearly 40-year history. Deliveries are scheduled from 2032 to 2035, extending ACG’s Airbus narrowbody delivery pipeline into the middle of the next decade.
Airbus and ACG have not disclosed the allocation between the A320neo and A321neo, the engine selection or the transaction value. The agreement includes conversion rights to other A320neo Family variants, allowing the lessor to adjust its future delivery mix as airline demand develops.
The order takes ACG’s historical orders for the A320neo Family to 190 aircraft and leaves 115 aircraft outstanding. Its fleet included 118 A320neo Family aircraft at the end of June 2026. The new delivery positions will support future placements with airline customers well into the next decade, despite the long lead times for new Airbus single-aisle aircraft.
The A320neo Family uses next-generation engines from CFM International and Pratt & Whitney and offers up to 20% lower fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions per seat than previous-generation aircraft. Airbus has recorded more than 20,400 orders for the wider A320 Family globally.
