Boeing and Lufthansa Technik have renewed their Tailored Parts Package agreement for three years, covering more than 6,500 Boeing part numbers across the manufacturer’s commercial aircraft platforms. The deal, announced at MRO Europe in Amsterdam on 29 October, has Boeing managing supply-chain execution for the covered parts, which Lufthansa Technik uses to support component services for airline customers.
The arrangement is intended to improve parts availability and simplify procurement, while making costs and planning more predictable for operators. The renewed term continues an existing collaboration and gives Lufthansa Technik access to a broad range of Boeing parts for its customer support activities.
The companies did not disclose the agreement’s financial value or identify the specific parts included. The package applies across Boeing commercial aircraft platforms, rather than being limited to a single fleet type.
