euroAtlantic Airways Adds Second Airbus A330-300, Expanding Fleet to Eight Aircraft

Portuguese ACMI and charter operator euroAtlantic Airways has added a second Airbus A330-300 leased from Jackson Square Aviation, bringing its fleet to eight aircraft. The aircraft arrived in Portugal on Wednesday and is expected to operate as CS-TGJ after induction into the airline’s Air Operator Certificate, subject to regulatory approval. The expansion increases EAA’s available widebody capacity for global ACMI and charter assignments.

EAA’s first A330-300, CS-TGI, has already been incorporated into its AOC and is operating commercial flights, including short-term ACMI and charter work. Both aircraft are leased from Jackson Square Aviation and have identical three-class layouts with 290 seats.

The common configuration gives EAA additional capacity while allowing the airline to support a consistent cabin product and align crew and maintenance planning across the two aircraft. The second aircraft’s operational deployment will depend on completion of the AOC induction process and the required regulatory approvals. No routes or specific customer assignments have been disclosed.
