SKY Airline and GOL Linhas Aéreas have signed a bilateral codeshare agreement to expand connections between Chile, Peru and Brazil. The arrangement will allow passengers to combine flights operated by both carriers in a single reservation, linking SKY’s Brazilian gateways—including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre—with GOL’s domestic network and extending access to destinations across all three markets.
SKY passengers will be able to connect to GOL services in Brazilian cities served by the Chilean airline, including Salvador, Brasília and Belo Horizonte, although some routes operate seasonally. Potential onward destinations include Curitiba, Recife, Natal and Maceió.
In the opposite direction, GOL customers will be able to connect through Santiago and Lima to SKY domestic services serving destinations such as Cusco, Arequipa, Puerto Montt, Puerto Natales, Antofagasta and Calama. Each airline will market the combined itineraries through its own sales channels.
The agreement follows SKY’s integration into Abra Group, which also controls GOL and Avianca, completed in August. SKY is also scheduled to begin daily Lima–Rio de Janeiro flights on 28 December, adding a second route between the cities after Lima–São Paulo. A future integration with GOL’s Smiles loyalty programme is planned, but no start date has been given.
