Abelo has completed the sale of three ATR turboprop aircraft to LXA Leasing, comprising one ATR 42-500 and two ATR 72-500s. The transaction expands LXA Leasing’s regional-aircraft portfolio and supports its focus on ATR aircraft and Pratt & Whitney Canada PW100-series engines, while ownership of the aircraft transfers from Dublin-based regional turboprop lessor Abelo to the aviation asset-management platform.
The aircraft are an ATR 42-500 with manufacturer serial number 561 and ATR 72-500s with serial numbers 748 and 760. The deal forms part of LXA Leasing’s activities in aircraft and engine leasing, trading and acquisitions, alongside related services for airlines, lessors and maintenance providers.
Abelo specialises in regional turboprop leasing and portfolio management, supporting airline fleet requirements and regional connectivity. The company’s sale of the three aircraft adds older-generation ATR equipment to LXA Leasing’s assets, but no operational placement or customer associated with the aircraft has been identified.
The transaction value, aircraft registrations, transfer locations, delivery timing and any existing lease arrangements were not disclosed.
