WestJet will begin serving a custom Tim Hortons coffee blend on flights from 30 November, in a partnership that adds a branded Canadian onboard product and a future loyalty link between the two companies. The airline will offer Flight Roast on services that already provide in-flight refreshments, while WestJet Rewards and Tims Rewards members will be able to connect accounts in 2027.
The blend was created exclusively for the partnership and is made from 100% Premium Arabica beans, developed to taste best at 35,000 feet. Tim Hortons coffee and tea will be available on WestJet flights that currently carry refreshments, expanding the carrier’s onboard beverage offer without changing routes or fleet plans.
The partnership also includes a second phase focused on loyalty. Once account linking launches in 2027, members will be able to earn WestJet points on eligible Tim Hortons purchases, with additional benefits to follow later. WestJet presents the move as part of its customer-experience strategy, while Tim Hortons gains a new aviation platform for one of its best-known brands.
