Travelski will launch a direct winter night train linking Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Brussels with the French Alps for the 2026-27 season, expanding its rail-based ski product beyond the existing Paris-Tarentaise service. The weekly sleeper service is due to start in mid-December, with the first departure reported for 18 December, and will run to Bourg-Saint-Maurice via Moûtiers and Aime-la-Plagne.
The new route will operate alongside the Travelski Night Express from Paris, giving the Compagnie des Alpes subsidiary two overnight rail options into the Tarentaise valley. Both trains will use electric traction, and the Amsterdam service is planned to offer more than 400 berths. The schedule covers 15 return journeys between mid-December and late March, with outbound trips on Friday evenings and returns on Saturday evenings.
Travelski is positioning the service as part of a wider effort to steer skiers towards rail travel, while also broadening access from the Benelux market to resorts in the French Alps. Tickets are expected to be sold both as standalone rail travel and as part of packages including transfers, accommodation and ski passes.
