TransNusa will launch four weekly return flights between Bali and Melbourne from 19 October, entering a leisure-heavy Australia-Indonesia market with a new nonstop link between Denpasar and Melbourne Airport. The Indonesian carrier will operate the route four times a week, with services scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The new operation expands TransNusa’s Australia-Indonesia network and gives Melbourne travellers another direct option to Bali, one of the region’s busiest short-haul international leisure corridors. TransNusa becomes the sixth carrier on the Melbourne-Bali sector, increasing competition on a route that continues to attract strong holiday demand.
The service is being introduced as a new scheduled route rather than a frequency increase on an existing operation. That positions TransNusa as a fresh entrant on a market already served by multiple airlines, while also adding capacity on a sector closely watched by both Australian and Indonesian leisure travel operators.
