SWISS has pushed back the transfer of its third Airbus A350-900, HB-IFC “Zug,” to Saturday, 12 September, after previously planning for the aircraft to arrive in Zurich on Friday. The newly built jet is now scheduled to depart Toulouse around 08:00 and land in Zurich at about 09:30.
The short-notice change comes as SWISS continues to build out its A350-900 fleet. HB-IFC is the airline’s third aircraft of the type and remains in delivery phase, with the move from Airbus’s Toulouse site to the carrier’s Zurich base forming part of the final handover process.
No technical reason for the adjustment has been given, leaving the operational cause unspecified. The revised timing means the aircraft will reach Switzerland a day later than originally expected, but the transfer remains on track for the weekend.
