SolitAir extends African network with Ghana cargo route

SolitAir has launched freight services to Ghana through Accra International Airport, extending its African network to 21 destinations across 17 countries. The new route links Accra with the carrier’s Dubai hub at Al Maktoum International Airport and adds a direct cargo connection for trade flows between West Africa and Middle Eastern markets.

The Ghana service strengthens SolitAir’s presence in West Africa after recent moves into Nigeria and forms part of a broader expansion across the continent. The route is geared towards shippers moving time-sensitive and trade-sensitive cargo, with additional capacity for Ghana’s key export categories, including gold, foodstuffs and perishables.

SolitAir’s African programme now spans a wider network of destinations than before the Ghana launch, reflecting continued growth in its airport-to-airport cargo model. The new Accra operation also deepens links between the UAE and Ghana, supporting freight traffic in both directions across the corridor.
