Rostec and Rosoboronexport are using the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt to present the export Su-57E with new weapons and unmanned platforms that have not previously been shown publicly. The display, running at El Alamein International Airport from 8 to 10 September, places the fifth-generation fighter at the centre of a broader weapons package aimed at export customers.
The most specific systems identified are the S-71M Monochrome and S-71K Carpet, also referred to as Kovyor, which are described as stealthy unmanned strike platforms for launch from fifth-generation aircraft such as the Su-57. Rostec has characterised the weapons as low-observable, long-range and high-speed systems intended for attacks on surface targets, including air-defence assets.
United Aircraft Corporation has linked the showcase to the Su-57E export configuration and the latest S-71M warhead delivery platforms and S-71K aviation bomb for fifth-generation fighters. The airshow debut also broadens the Su-57E offer beyond the missile sets Rosoboronexport had already promoted, including the RVV-MD2, RVV-BD, Kh-38MLE, Kh-69 and Kh-58UShKE.
The exact technical specifications, carriage method and intended internal or external integration on the Su-57 remain unconfirmed, but the unveiling underlines Russia’s effort to market the fighter as part of a wider strike ecosystem rather than as a standalone aircraft.
