Royal Jordanian takes delivery of 17th Airbus A320neo-family aircraft

Royal Jordanian has taken delivery of its 17th Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, extending the narrowbody fleet refresh at its Amman-based operation. The addition comes as the carrier continues a wider modernisation and expansion programme, with one further aircraft due in December that would lift the A320neo-family total to 18 by the end of 2026.

Since the start of the year, Royal Jordanian has brought in 10 new aircraft of various types, taking its fleet to 36 modern aircraft. The airline is also pursuing a multi-year renewal plan that calls for two more aircraft in 2027 and 2028, which would raise the A320neo-family count to 20. The latest delivery gives the carrier its largest ever A320neo-family subfleet and supports planned growth in capacity and operational efficiency.
