Fraport profit lifted by one-off stake sale

Fraport’s preliminary third-quarter 2026 results exceeded market expectations after the Frankfurt Airport operator sold its 50% stake in Medical Airport Service GmbH (MAS). Group EBITDA reached approximately €595 million in the July-September period, around 4% above analyst consensus, while EBIT came in at about €407 million, nearly 5% ahead of expectations.

The disposal contributed approximately €24 million to operating earnings. MAS provides occupational medicine, workplace safety and corporate health-management services and is not an airport-operating business, making the contribution a nonrecurring effect rather than an improvement in recurring airport operations.

Analysts had expected EBITDA of roughly €574 million and EBIT of about €389 million. Excluding the MAS transaction, Fraport maintained its financial guidance for the 2026 financial year.

The company plans to publish its full third-quarter results on 4 November at 07:00 CET.
