Fiji Airways will begin thrice-weekly flights between Western Sydney International and Nadi on 19 March 2027, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The new service will operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, giving the carrier its first direct link from the new Sydney airport and adding more than 53,000 seats a year on the route.
The outbound flight from Nadi is scheduled to depart at 7:10pm and arrive in Western Sydney at 10:55pm, while the return service leaves at 11:55pm and reaches Nadi at 4:55am the following day. The route extends Fiji Airways’ existing presence in Sydney, where it already flies twice daily to Kingsford Smith airport, and positions Western Sydney as a second gateway to the city’s large Fiji-bound leisure market.
Introductory fares were also set for the new service, with launch pricing from Western Sydney to Fiji from A$639 and Fiji-origin fares from F$899. Fiji Airways will be the first international airline to commit to a route linking Fiji with Western Sydney International, as the airport works to build its overseas network.
