Euroatlantic Airways covers Air Greenland’s Copenhagen–Nuuk flights

Euroatlantic Airways has been operating Air Greenland’s Copenhagen–Nuuk service since 2 November while the Greenlandic carrier’s Airbus A330-800, Tuukkaq, undergoes annual maintenance. An Euroatlantic A330-300 is covering the transatlantic flights, with Tuukkaq expected to return to the route on 19 November. The temporary arrangement keeps Air Greenland’s link between Greenland and Denmark in operation during the maintenance period.

Air Greenland’s passenger information for bookings on the route from 2 November contained an error indicating that meals and in-flight entertainment would not be available. Both services are available on the replacement flights.

Euroatlantic Airways is a Portuguese carrier. Air Greenland’s operational update identifies the substitute aircraft as an A330-300 but does not specify its registration. Reports of an A330-200 also participating in the operation have not been confirmed by the airline.
