Emirates has signed 11 new partnership agreements at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, widening cooperation with seven destinations and extending its network through fresh and renewed tourism, interline and codeshare ties. The deals cover destination promotion, new customer reach and greater connectivity across the airline’s global route system, while a separate agreement with Kuwait Airways will move their existing interline arrangement towards reciprocal codeshare cooperation.
Tourism bodies in the new partnership set include the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, the Japan National Tourism Organization and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, alongside other destination organisations linked to new or renewed memoranda of understanding. The agreements are aimed at strengthening visitor flows into partner markets and supporting Emirates’ wider sales and distribution network.
The carrier’s expanded relationship with Kuwait Airways stands out as the most commercially significant airline-to-airline element in the package. It builds on an existing interline link and is intended to give both carriers broader access to each other’s customers and routes, while supporting easier connections across Emirates’ international schedule.
