The Canary Islands aerospace cluster will stage the third Canary Islands International Aerospace Congress in Tenerife on 3-4 December, bringing together aeronautics, robotics, space, universities, research centres, institutions and entrepreneurs at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Energías Renovables. The event will focus on dual-use technologies, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, drones, advanced air mobility, U-Space, Earth observation and astrophysics.
The programme will be organised into five tracks covering aeronautics, robotics, space, astrophysics and talent and education. A dedicated CIAC Talent segment is designed to link the sector with universities and training centres, reflecting the growing effort to build a wider skills pipeline for the regional aerospace industry.
The congress will also feature the formal presentation of the Tenerife Space Horizon project and the Canary Islands Aerospace Strategy. Support from the Tenerife island council and the Canary Islands government places the meeting within a broader regional industrial and institutional push to expand aerospace activity across the archipelago.
