CDB Aviation has signed a lease agreement with Italy-based leisure airline Neos for an additional Boeing 737-800. The aircraft is scheduled for delivery in November 2026 and will support Neos’s intra-European and intercontinental operations, expanding the lessor’s existing relationship with the carrier.
The aircraft will come from CDB Aviation’s existing portfolio. The agreement follows Neos’s lease of two Boeing 737-800s from the lessor in 2021 and will bring the airline’s fleet to 19 aircraft, including the aircraft due to enter service in November.
CDB Aviation is the wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. The new lease continues a relationship focused on supporting Neos’s short- and longer-haul leisure network, although the companies have not disclosed the aircraft’s registration, age, engine configuration, lease term or financial terms. Specific routes for the incoming aircraft have also not been identified.
