Airbus holds 2026 delivery target and production plans

Airbus has kept its 2026 guidance unchanged, targeting around 870 commercial aircraft deliveries despite supply-chain tensions. The manufacturer delivered 547 aircraft in the first nine months, up from 507 in the same period of 2025. It also retained its production-rate objectives for the A220, A320, A330 and A350 families, including a target of 70 to 75 A320 Family aircraft per month by the end of 2027.

The A320 rate is due to stabilise at 75 aircraft per month after the ramp-up. Airbus continues to plan for monthly output of 13 A220s in 2028, five A330s in 2029 and 12 A350s in 2028.

The guidance assumes no further disruption to the supply chain, global trade, air traffic, Airbus’s internal operations or its ability to deliver. Chief executive Guillaume Faury identified meeting delivery objectives while maintaining attention to quality as a focus for the company.

The unchanged targets leave Airbus’s production ramp-up plans in place, although achieving them remains contingent on operating conditions. The results release did not identify a specific supplier or cite particular aircraft quality issues as constraints.
