AJW Group has signed a long-term agreement with Airbus under which the aircraft manufacturer will become its preferred repair partner for avionics and radome products across AJW’s global network. The deal combines Airbus’ original equipment expertise and product knowledge with AJW’s aftermarket support capabilities, extending the repair services available to its customers. The companies did not disclose the contract’s duration, financial terms or the components covered.
The agreement complements AJW’s existing maintenance, repair and overhaul work at AJW Technique. It is intended to provide repair support and help improve aircraft availability, although the companies have not specified the repair locations or set out how the work will be allocated across AJW’s network.
Airbus Head of Commercial Yann Peyrot described the agreement as building on the companies’ existing relationship. No further details were provided on the scope of the avionics and radome repairs.
