Airbus Corporate Jets expects demand for large business jets in Asia to rise through 2030, after a survey of regional financiers and brokers found a clear shift toward bigger aircraft. The study found 85% of respondents anticipate higher purchases of large business jets, while 62% expect new business jet spending in 2025-2034 to concentrate on large and long-range models.
The findings point to a market increasingly shaped by range, cabin space, comfort and customisation, alongside long-term operating economics. Chadi Saade, president of Airbus Corporate Jets, framed the outlook as supportive of further regional growth, with larger aircraft seen as better aligned with the needs of Asian buyers. The survey, commissioned by Airbus Corporate Jets and conducted by Pureprofile, also indicates that financing for large business jets may become easier relative to smaller aircraft, which could aid fleet upgrades across the region.
The research suggests that upgrade activity is already significant and may accelerate by the end of the decade. It also points to stronger interest in long-range aircraft that can serve intercontinental missions from Asia, reinforcing demand for business jets with greater cabin capacity and flexibility.
