Air Serbia plans to add another long-haul route in 2027, with chief executive Jiri Marek confirming the expansion but withholding the destination. The airline expects to reveal more new routes and higher frequencies toward the end of September, as it continues to build out Belgrade’s role as a long-haul and transfer hub.
The planned service would extend a run of yearly network growth that has included repeated long-haul additions and wider schedule expansion. Miami, Beijing and a possible seasonal long-haul destination have previously been discussed, while Tashkent has also been mentioned as a potential candidate in industry reporting.
The 2027 long-haul addition would be part of a broader wave of route news for the carrier. Air Serbia is already preparing a series of new destinations and frequency increases for the coming network update, with the full slate due later this month.
