Air France to move JFK operations into New Terminal One, open large premium lounge

Air France will shift all of its John F. Kennedy International Airport operations into the New Terminal One when the facility opens next year and will introduce a new premium lounge in the terminal. The lounge will cover more than 29,000 square feet across two levels, seat more than 400 travellers and become the carrier’s largest lounge outside France.

The space will serve La Première and Business passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members and eligible KLM and SkyTeam partner customers. Flying Blue Ultimate members will have access to an exclusive area, while La Première travellers will receive a separate dining offering created by a French chef.

Air France is positioning the move as part of a more seamless premium journey at JFK, with the new lounge designed around French gastronomy, French wines and champagnes, and dedicated areas for relaxation, work and beauty treatments. The relocation also aligns the airline with the terminal’s newer facilities and expanded retail and dining environment.
