Air Canada will launch seasonal nonstop flights between Montréal–Trudeau and Seville on 8 September 2027, creating the Spanish city’s first direct transatlantic link. The route will be operated with Airbus A321XLR aircraft configured with 182 seats, including 14 lie-flat Signature Class seats and 168 Economy seats. Service will begin three times weekly and rise to four weekly flights from 1 October 2027.
The route will operate during two seasonal periods: from 8 September 2027 to 8 January 2028, and from 18 February to 3 June 2028. Flight AC958 will leave Montréal at 20:30 and arrive in Seville at 09:30 the following day. The return AC959 will depart Seville at 12:45 and reach Montréal at 14:40, with all times local.
Air Canada will be the only carrier offering a nonstop connection between Seville and North America, giving passengers in Andalusia direct access to Montréal and onward connections through the airline’s hub. Seville becomes Air Canada’s fifth destination in Spain. The service also extends the carrier’s use of the A321XLR on its European network, following previously announced Montréal routes to Basel-Mulhouse and Dubrovnik for summer 2027.
