Air Canada will resume year-round service between Toronto Pearson and Tel Aviv on 30 November, bringing forward a return that had previously been slated for 17 January 2027. The route will operate four times a week with Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliners, restoring a direct Toronto–Tel Aviv link for the winter season.
The revised timing follows a review of the security environment in the Middle East, with operational, safety and security considerations driving the decision. Tel Aviv service had been suspended amid regional instability, leaving the Canada-Israel nonstop market without this Air Canada option for several months.
The earlier restart is significant for long-haul network planning because it restores capacity on a route linking Toronto Pearson with Ben Gurion Airport before the start of the new year. It also gives travellers a winter-season nonstop choice between Canada’s largest hub and Israel’s main international gateway.
