AFI KLM E&M has named Sylvain Fagot as senior vice president of components, effective 1 October, in an internal leadership change that will see François Gueguen move to Transavia France as executive vice president fleet, engineering and maintenance. The appointment places Fagot in charge of a core maintenance, repair and overhaul function that supports airline customers with component performance and service continuity.
Fagot will take over the components role from Gueguen and focus on further developing the division’s capabilities and improving customer service performance. The move keeps the transition within the Air France-KLM group, with Gueguen’s shift to Transavia France indicating a wider management reshuffle across the carrier’s maintenance and operations units.
Components is a key part of AFI KLM E&M’s aftermarket offering, covering support that helps operators keep aircraft available and services running smoothly. The leadership handover comes as the group continues to align technical functions across its maintenance business and its airline operations.
