PAL-V partners with Nobleo to prepare Liberty FlyDrive for industrial production

PAL-V has selected Dutch engineering and manufacturing specialist Nobleo Manufacturing as a strategic partner to industrialise production of its Liberty FlyDrive vehicle. The collaboration will develop manufacturing processes, digital production infrastructure and supply-chain readiness as PAL-V moves from development and certification towards production readiness and future volume manufacturing in the Netherlands.

The partnership covers an industrialisation roadmap spanning pre-production, production ramp-up and longer-term scaling. Nobleo will help align the Liberty vehicle programme with structured manufacturing processes, digital systems and operational controls needed for repeatable production.

PAL-V recently secured automotive and aviation production approvals. Its Production Organisation Approval under European Union Aviation Safety Agency regulations authorises the company to manufacture aviation products, while the automotive approval supports production of road-legal vehicles. The Liberty is designed to combine road and aviation functions in a single certified FlyDrive vehicle.

PAL-V founder and chief executive Robert Dingemanse described Nobleo’s industrialisation and digital-manufacturing expertise as support for the company’s operational foundations as it scales. PAL-V has indicated that its reservation portfolio supports the first years of planned production, but the latest partnership does not confirm that full-rate series production or customer deliveries have begun. No production rate, reservation total or delivery schedule was provided.
