SR Aviation Infrastructure has broken ground on a $22 million redevelopment of its complex at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project will deliver three new 25,000-square-foot hangars, adding 75,000 square feet of capacity for business and private aircraft at one of the United States’ busiest aviation destinations.
Construction follows the planned demolition of several existing hangars on the site. The replacement facilities are expected to substantially reconfigure SRAI’s Las Vegas operation, although no completion date, future users or aircraft-capacity rating has been disclosed.
The redevelopment is separate from the recently opened NetJets and Signature Aviation facility at Harry Reid, which includes two hangars and a private terminal. SRAI’s project represents a distinct investment in aircraft storage and related business-aviation infrastructure at the airport.
