United Airlines has teamed up with DISH to stream live professional and college football on Starlink-enabled seatback screens across more than 200 mainline aircraft, giving passengers access to live games on domestic flights starting this week and through the big game in February. The service is available free to MileagePlus members in every cabin and covers about 700 flights a day.
The channel lineup includes ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, FS1, ESPN, ESPN2, NFL Network and Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. United is using DISH’s OnStream platform with its Starlink connectivity to deliver the live television feed to next-generation in-flight entertainment systems, extending live sports beyond personal devices and onto seatback screens.
United expects the offering to reach nearly 700 aircraft by February 2027, with Starlink installations set to continue through the end of 2027. The rollout positions live sports as a domestic cabin feature for the football season rather than a one-off promotion, although the airline has not disclosed route-level or fleet-subtype deployment details.
