Cabo Verde Airlines will open a direct route between Sal Island and Recife on 12 December, adding a second weekly connection between Cabo Verde and Brazil. The new service will operate alongside the existing Praia-Recife route, which has been in service since May, and is part of the carrier’s wider Brazil expansion.
The new Sal-Recife link is designed to strengthen air ties between Cabo Verde and northeastern Brazil while improving onward connection options to Europe. Bookings for the weekly service have been opened through the airline’s own sales channels and partner networks. The route extends the state airline’s South Atlantic network at a time when it is building a broader presence in the Brazilian market.
