Etihad Airways will fit four First Class suites at the front of its new Airbus A330-900neo cabin layout, extending its premium offering beyond flagship long-haul aircraft. The interior will also include 24 Business seats and 252 Economy seats, with the first aircraft due to enter service in September 2027 from Abu Dhabi.
The cabin forms part of Etihad’s wider premium refresh and fleet investment plan under its Beyond Borders strategy. The First Class section is designed as a small forward cabin, with each suite fitted with a closing door, a 32-inch screen, wireless charging, dedicated storage and a personal powder station. The layout also leaves room for a companion to dine or socialise.
Etihad has been widening its premium product range after the response to its A321LR cabin, while the A330 project gives the airline a differentiated First Class product on a medium-haul widebody. The aircraft will operate across Etihad’s network from Abu Dhabi, with the new interior announced alongside Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
