KLM’s early Norwich–Amsterdam flight cancelled for second consecutive day

KLM’s early morning Norwich–Amsterdam service was cancelled again on 12 September, marking the second straight day the 06:00 departure from Norwich did not operate. The repeated disruption affected KL1054, the regional feeder flight from Norwich Airport to Amsterdam Schiphol that connects passengers into KLM’s hub network.

The airline’s explanation differed across the two days. Friday’s cancellation was listed for operational reasons, while Saturday’s was attributed to measures imposed by local authorities or air traffic control. The back-to-back cancellations add to recent disruption on the route, which has already faced intermittent operational and ATC-related issues in recent days.

For business travellers, the service is a key early link between East Anglia and KLM’s Amsterdam hub, supporting same-day onward connections across Europe and beyond. On 12 September, the rest of the carrier’s scheduled operations from Norwich were reported to have run normally.
