Airlines are gradually restoring Middle East services after the conflict triggered by U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, but major disruptions remain across key routes. Lufthansa Group, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada, Wizz Air, Air France and Cathay Pacific are among the carriers still managing extended suspensions, with Dubai, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Bahrain, Amman and Riyadh all affected.
The recovery is uneven, with some airlines resuming flights while others keep cuts in place well into autumn and beyond. Lufthansa Group routes remain suspended through 24 October, British Airways has pushed some Middle East cancellations to 25 October, Singapore Airlines has held its Dubai service until 24 October and Wizz Air has taken a similar approach through 24 October. Air France is gradually broadening its regional schedule, while Cathay Pacific has extended Dubai and Riyadh suspensions until 30 November.
Air Canada has gone furthest, keeping Tel Aviv and Dubai services suspended until January 2027. Reuters said Dubai remains one of the hardest-hit destinations as carriers balance partial recovery against continuing security risk, operational uncertainty and the need to rebuild schedules across Gulf hubs.
