SalamAir verbindet Muscat mit Kopenhagen via Bagdad

SalamAir is launching a Muscat–Copenhagen service via Baghdad, with ticket sales already open and the first flight scheduled for 14 November 2026. The twice-weekly route will give the Omani low-cost carrier a new link to Denmark and extend its European network while using fifth-freedom rights on the Baghdad–Copenhagen sector.

The new service allows passengers to book Muscat–Copenhagen itineraries with a stop in Baghdad, while also opening direct Baghdad–Copenhagen traffic. SalamAir presents the route as its ninth new destination of 2026, underlining a steady expansion push across Oman, Iraq and Northern Europe.

Fare information is already visible in the booking channel, including promotional one-way prices on both the Muscat–Copenhagen and Baghdad–Copenhagen sectors. The route also adds a low-cost option into Scandinavia and broadens SalamAir’s reach into a market that has seen limited direct competition from the Gulf and Levant.
