Air Canada to add five international destinations and seven routes for summer 2027

Air Canada will expand its summer 2027 international network with five new destinations and seven new routes from Vancouver, Toronto and Montréal, including services to Guangzhou, Oslo, Shannon, Basel and Dubrovnik. The programme also adds Toronto-Nice and extends several long-haul links, with sales already open for routes that begin from May and June 2027.

The expansion spans trans-Pacific, trans-Atlantic and Latin American markets as the carrier prepares one of its largest overseas schedules. It includes year-round Vancouver-Guangzhou service, daily Toronto-Shanghai flights and the return of Toronto-London Heathrow Daytripper. Montréal will gain year-round links to Tenerife, Lima and Guatemala City, while Toronto-Guatemala City also becomes year-round.

Some launches remain subject to government approvals, including Guangzhou and Oslo, and route timing may still change as final schedules are filed. Air Canada’s summer 2027 plan lifts its international footprint to more than 125 routes and as many as 169,000 weekly seats to over 85 overseas destinations, strengthening competition on Europe-Canada and Canada-China leisure and business corridors.
