Condor and UFO agree new cabin crew framework

Condor and cabin crew union UFO have agreed a new collective framework covering the airline’s cabin staff, with the rules due to take effect on 1 January 2027. The agreement replaces arrangements that varied according to employees’ hiring dates and sets common provisions for working time and scheduling. Frankfurt-based Condor’s cabin crews will receive more guaranteed days off and greater scope to request preferred duties, alongside revised standby and workload rules.

The framework also provides for more predictable rosters. UFO says its terms are intended to improve rest while retaining the flexibility needed to operate flights. The union also links the agreement to job security and the prospect of further recruitment, although the available reporting does not quantify those effects or specify the changes to days off, scheduling requests or workload calculations.

The deal follows an agreement on key points reached in February 2026. It is separate from a recently concluded pay agreement for Condor pilots; the two agreements cover different employee groups and terms. The full cabin framework text has not been made available.
