Airbus delivered 74 commercial aircraft to 45 customers in October, bringing its total for the first ten months of 2026 to 621. With its full-year guidance unchanged at around 870 deliveries, the manufacturer needs to hand over 249 aircraft in November and December—an average of about 125 a month. The confirmed figures put the required total at 249, rather than the 259 cited in some coverage of the October data.
The October tally was the first monthly delivery update since Airbus reaffirmed its guidance in its nine-month results on 28 October. It also recorded 202 gross orders during the month.
The required pace is well above the 89 aircraft delivered in June, Airbus’s strongest month so far this year. The figures do not establish how many aircraft will be delivered in either of the final two months, leaving the annual outcome dependent on a substantial increase in handovers.
