Bombardier’s third-quarter revenue rose 3% year on year to about US$2.4 billion, with 33 business aircraft delivered, while its order backlog grew to US$22.2 billion at 30 September. The Montreal-based manufacturer raised its 2026 free-cash-flow forecast for a second time, to more than US$1.3 billion. Reported EBIT increased 17% to US$266 million, but net income declined 5% to US$81 million.
The backlog was US$4.7 billion higher than at the end of 2025. Bombardier recorded a quarterly unit book-to-bill ratio of 1.7, meaning orders outpaced deliveries; the company did not identify the aircraft orders behind the increase. The backlog includes both manufacturing and Services activity.
Services revenue reached a quarterly record of US$701 million, up 19% year on year. Bombardier reported reducing debt by US$1.1 billion since the start of the year.
The company kept its other 2026 targets unchanged: more than 157 aircraft deliveries, revenue above US$10 billion and adjusted EBITDA above US$1.625 billion. Its financial figures are in US dollars; adjusted measures are non-GAAP and may not be directly comparable with those reported by other issuers.
