Wizz Air has launched a new Berlin Brandenburg–Vilnius route for the 2026/27 winter schedule, operating three times weekly with an Airbus A321neo configured for 239 passengers. The service began on 26 October and runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, maintaining a direct link between the German and Lithuanian capitals after Ryanair’s withdrawal from the market.
The route expands Wizz Air’s Berlin network to 17 destinations in 13 countries. Its schedule is concentrated on Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, including several capital cities and regional centres.
Wizz Air is also adding further capacity at Berlin Brandenburg during the winter season. A daily service to Milan is planned to begin on 14 December, alongside other network additions. The carrier’s Vilnius operation does not create a previously unserved city pair; it changes the operator on the route and adds Wizz Air capacity following Ryanair’s decision to discontinue its Berlin–Vilnius service.
The available schedule information confirms the operating days and aircraft type but does not specify flight times, fares, aircraft rotations or whether the new service fully replaces Ryanair’s former capacity.
