Veryon has acquired Polaris Aero, bringing the aviation safety management software specialist into its maintenance and data software portfolio. The deal combines Polaris Aero’s safety tools with Veryon’s maintenance software suite and expands Veryon’s customer base by more than 200 aviation operators and maintenance organisations worldwide.
Polaris Aero is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and has supplied safety management solutions since 2007. Its products include VOCUS SMS, FlightRisk and GroundRisk. Veryon will keep Polaris Aero operating as a separate business unit in the near term, with current products, contracts and support remaining unchanged while integration plans are developed.
The acquisition also broadens Veryon’s data platform. Polaris Aero’s de-identified safety information will be combined with Veryon’s maintenance-event dataset to strengthen Veryon AIRE, the company’s AI-powered data intelligence platform. Veryon is positioning the combined portfolio around maintenance tracking, MRO management and safety management for aviation customers.
