Textron Aviation has announced a multi-aircraft fleet purchase agreement with German charter operator Platoon Aviation for Cessna Citation Longitude business jets. The deal will make Platoon Aviation the largest Citation Longitude fleet owner in Europe once deliveries are completed.
Platoon Aviation, based in Hamburg, currently operates Cessna Citation Latitude aircraft and focuses on premium business charter services. The new Citation Longitude jets are intended to expand its operations on longer-range routes, adding capacity and range compared with its existing fleet.
The Cessna Citation Longitude is a super midsize business jet positioned above the Citation Latitude in the Cessna range. It is designed for long-range corporate missions and offers extended range and increased cabin comfort compared with smaller models.
Deliveries of the Citation Longitude aircraft to Platoon Aviation are scheduled to begin in 2027. The precise number of aircraft covered by the agreement has not been disclosed, and no financial terms have been made public. Details on interior configuration and specific route plans have also not been released.
The agreement expands Platoon Aviation’s fleet and reinforces the presence of the Citation Longitude in the European business aviation market, particularly in the long-range charter segment.
