Singapore Airlines regained the World’s Best Airline title at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards in London, reclaiming the top global ranking from Qatar Airways. The carrier also won Best Airline in Asia, World’s Best Economy Class and World’s Best Economy Class Onboard Catering, while Scoot retained Best Long Haul Low-Cost Airline for a sixth consecutive year.
The awards were presented at the Langham Hotel and were based on a passenger survey covering more than 24.8 million travellers and over 300 airlines. Qatar Airways, the 2025 winner, finished second this time, with Cathay Pacific third. Skytrax also placed ANA and Turkish Airlines among the top five.
For Singapore Airlines, the result restores a position it last held in 2023 and gives it a sixth overall win in the Skytrax global ranking. The combination of economy-class and catering awards points to broad appeal across both premium and lower-fare cabins, while Scoot’s latest win extends a long run in the long-haul low-cost segment.
