Signature Aviation and UrbanV have formally launched Signature UrbanV Alliance (SUVA), a US joint venture to develop and operate Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure. Unveiled during NBAA-BACE 2026, the venture will initially adapt Signature’s existing aviation terminals for electric aircraft operations, including charging, handling and passenger services, before expanding to dedicated vertiports as demand grows.
SUVA will seek to connect airports with urban and regional destinations across the United States rather than develop isolated vertiport sites. The infrastructure is intended to support multiple aircraft manufacturers and operators, providing access for future electric air-taxi and other Advanced Air Mobility services.
The partners will work with airports, municipalities, real-estate owners, manufacturers, operators and infrastructure providers to identify potential locations, assess demand and establish the technical, regulatory and commercial conditions required for deployment. Signature contributes its US aviation footprint and operating capabilities, while UrbanV brings expertise in planning, developing and operating Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure.
The joint venture was first announced in June 2025. Its formal establishment moves the project from planning into implementation, although the partners have not disclosed launch routes, specific vertiport locations, investment figures, construction schedules or commercial service dates.
